REHABILITATION INTERNET OF THINGS

WARIHAND

Heritage in Motion · Technology in Rehabilitation

✦

WariHand brings heritage-inspired movement into a human-centred rehabilitation experience. A camera observes movement, the system turns it into measurable data, and useful feedback returns to the person.

“Technology helps us move. Humans give it meaning.”

ABOUT WARIHAND

What is WariHand?

◆

WariHand is a heritage-inspired interface for Rehabilitation Internet of Things (RIoT). It uses camera-based movement tracking to support rehabilitation activities without requiring the user to wear many sensors.

The concept starts with the person, not the machine. Heritage activities are adapted into safe digital movement tasks, while the system records technical measures such as repetitions, movement time, range, smoothness or accuracy depending on the activity.

“Movement becomes data, data reveals patterns, and patterns help us understand progress.” WariHand · RIoT concept

HERITAGE MOVEMENT ACTIVITIES

Choose a Rehabilitation Module

Each heritage activity is adapted from its movement pattern. The activities are not arranged as unlockable therapy levels.

RIOT FLOW

How It Works

◆

Human Movement

The user performs a selected heritage-inspired rehabilitation movement.

01
02

Camera / Sensor

The camera or suitable sensor captures the hand, arm, body or leg movement.

Movement Becomes Data

Landmarks and movement are converted into technical measures such as repetitions, time, range or smoothness.

03
04

Analysis & Feedback

The system processes the movement and provides clear feedback rather than a medical diagnosis.

Back to the Human

The user sees the session results while professionals remain responsible for important clinical decisions.

Important: WariHand displays technical movement information. It does not provide a diagnosis or replace doctors, physiotherapists or occupational therapists. Heritage-game adaptations should be professionally evaluated for safety and clinical use.
